Sean and Kieran Murphy started Murphy's Ice Cream in Dingle in 2000, with the goal of making the best ice cream in the world. The kitchen in the Dessert House in Dingle served as a laboratory, in the quest to create the perfect flavours. Over the next two years the business grew and customers from outside Kerry became more insistent in having Murphy’s Ice Cream closer to home. Murphy’s Ice Cream now has two dessert houses, the original Dingle shop and a second shop in Kilkenny. Through our distributor we also supply shops and restaurants in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.
