SILVERSKIN COFFEE ROASTERS

It was founded by Brian Kenny who has 20 years experience in the coffee industry. Beginning in 1996 Brian started his career roasting on a R750 Probat machine. In the year 2000 Brian had the pleasure to work on and help design the programme for the Therma 2 Probat roaster. This roaster is still considered revolutionary today.

Brian represented Ireland in the World Cupping Championships 2006 and in the following years Brian filled a barista training and quality management role.

Forging strong links with growers and suppliers coupled with a passion for coffee tasting and roasting, in 2012 Silverskin Coffee Roasters opened its flagship store at the iconic Coffee Kiosk, Ballsbridge. The premium grab and go coffee outlet is Ireland’s original and smallest Micro-Roastery and at 37 sq ft is probably the smallest roastery in the world!

Why Us

Only the highest quality speciality coffee is purchased and roasted onsite. Strict quality measures are used when sourcing green beans. All green beans are measured for moisture, density and size. This allows for specific roasting profiles to be assigned to individual coffees.

Our coffee is craft-roasted daily in small batches to guarantee freshness and allow us to maintain strict quality control throughout the entire roasting process. It is packaged immediately in airtight, one-way valve bespoke packaging to maintain freshness.
