Outcast Brands was set-up 2020 by Jason Kidd with a mission to show the World that Irish Spirits could be different. We believe in keeping things simple, focusing on quality of liquid and the ingredients that go into them. We’ve specially developed all of our liquids to be smooth enough to enjoy neat.
Our now multi-award winning Blood Monkey Gin, was our first product. Triple distilled, made from 100% malted Irish Barley, and made in a Genever Style, it is unique in the Irish Market. It’s signature botanicals of Szechuan Pepper, Irish Rosemary and Kafir Lime Leaf result in a smooth, fresh and slightly savoury gin. This range has now grown to include Spice Storm, which is Original Blood Monkey redistilled with additional botanicals of Cardamon and Dried Blood Orange, and Tropical Storm which includes Dried Mango and Extra Kafir Lime Leaf. Two Shores Rum, which won Ireland’s Best Rum in 2023, along with 3 other Gold Medals, is a World’s First Spirit. Using a pure sugar cane rum from Panama, we age our rum on the West Coast of Ireland in former Irish Whiskey barrels, bringing the Two Shores of the Atlantic and their distilling and production traditions together. The result is a range of rums with beautifully complex, yet subtle flavours.
